Origins of the charter

The charter of Fair Trade Organic Wine (Bio Vin Solidaire) was established in 2011 by the organic wine committee of Aquitaine's regional organic association ARBIO in partnership with the Aquitaine Organic Winemakers Union (SVBA). Winemakers, wine cooperatives, wine wholesalers, and the Chamber of Agriculture are all represented in the charter through a collective process.

Why is the charter important?

Together organic wine professionals act responsibly through a collective process by offering consumers quality organic wines, ensuring fair prices for winemakers, and maintaining a balanced market.
