The charter of Fair Trade Organic Wine (Bio Vin Solidaire) was established in 2011 by the organic wine committee of Aquitaine's regional organic association ARBIO in partnership with the Aquitaine Organic Winemakers Union (SVBA). Winemakers, wine cooperatives, wine wholesalers, and the Chamber of Agriculture are all represented in the charter through a collective process.
